Global vs Individual Affiliate Settings – What’s the Difference?
By GameMarket Team 18 June 2026, 01:51 WIB
Gamemarket gives every seller full control over how affiliate commissions work — either for all products at once, or for each listing individually.
This flexibility lets you maximize your reach, incentivize others to promote your listings, and grow your sales — all without extra marketing cost.
1. Global Affiliate Settings
Apply affiliate to all your products in one go.
Where to set it:
→ Go to your Account Settings → Affiliate Section
What you can control:
-
Turn affiliate ON or OFF for all listings
-
Set a default commission percentage (between 3%–30%)
This is perfect for sellers who:
-
Have many listings
-
Want to activate affiliate quickly
-
Prefer consistent commission rates across all products
Once enabled, every new product you create and existed will automatically follow this global setting — unless manually overridden.
2. Individual Affiliate Settings
Override the global setting for individual listings.
Where to set it:
→ Go to Manage Listing → Edit your product
What you can control:
-
Set a unique commission rate per product
Use this when you:
-
Want to run promos or special campaigns
-
Want higher commissions for certain items
-
Are experimenting with price/commission combinations
Product-specific Affiliate will always override global settings for that product.
How Affiliate Commissions Work
Affiliate commission is not added on top of your product price.
It is taken as a percentage of the product price itself, and automatically deducted only when a successful referral happens.
Example:
-
Product price: $100
-
Commission: 10%
-
Buyer pays: $100
-
Seller receives: $90
-
Affiliate receives: $10
✅ Buyers don’t pay extra.
✅ Percentage only pay if your product is sold through a referral.
Why Use Affiliate in the First Place?
Affiliate is your free marketing army.
By activating affiliate, you're allowing:
-
Buyers, other sellers, or even influencers
-
To share your product across social media or communities
-
And earn a small reward only if your item is sold
More shares = more exposure = faster sales.
GameMarket’s affiliate system makes it simple, safe, and 100% automated.
