Etheria 1st Anniversary: Pyrite Nyx and the New Server Catch
By Rivan Wi 27 August 2026, 10:00 WIB
Etheria: Restart has confirmed that its 1st Anniversary Celebration officially kicks off in September, headlined by the anniversary version [Pyrite Nyx] and a grand premiere teased with a stage-magician flourish. Pre-registration is open now, offering 1,888 Hydra Crystals, a Contender Realm and more.
Before you tap through: the anniversary claim code is tied to a new server, not your existing account. That single line in the fine print changes what pre-registering actually means for you, and it depends entirely on whether you're a current Hyperlinker or a new one.
Here's what's confirmed, what the rewards actually require, and what's still unannounced.
What's confirmed
- The 1st Anniversary Celebration begins in September 2026. Announced officially on 24 August.
- The anniversary version is called [Pyrite Nyx], promoted with a grand premiere framing and a phantom-showman aesthetic.
- Anniversary pre-registration is live now through the official campaign page.
- Pre-registration rewards include 1,888 Hydra Crystals, a Contender Realm, and additional items, plus a free pull.
- The Anniversary Server opens 2 September 2026 at 21:00 (UTC-5) — that's 02:00 UTC on 3 September, or 09:00 WIB on 3 September.
- A new-server rally is running, with players choosing between two camps: Pyrite Pageant and Umbral Prowlers.
- Additional campaign activities include Spot the Trick and Phantom Rally: Anniversary Ops.
The new server catch
This is the part worth reading twice.
The campaign page states plainly that the Gift Code can only be redeemed once on the new server. Not on your main account. Not on the server you've been playing since launch. On the Anniversary Server that opens 2 September.
For newcomers and returning players, that's straightforwardly good — you were going to make a fresh account anyway, and 1,888 Hydra Crystals plus a Contender Realm is a substantial head start.
For established players, it's a decision rather than a freebie. Claiming the full pre-registration package means starting over on a new server, with none of your existing Animus, Shells or Module Essence coming with you. Etheria: Restart runs separate NA, EU and SEA servers, and progress doesn't transfer between them.
One honest caveat: the campaign explicitly ties the claim code to the new server. It doesn't spell out with the same clarity whether every listed reward follows the same rule, or whether some are delivered to your existing mailbox. The page notes that prizes are sent to the in-game mailbox and viewable under [My Prizes], and asks you to select one character under your account to join the event — which suggests at least some campaign activity is account-linked rather than server-locked.
If you're an existing player, pre-register by all means — it costs nothing — but verify what lands in your main account's mailbox before making plans around 1,888 crystals. Don't budget for currency you may need a new account to receive.
What pre-registration involves
The flow is straightforward. You select a character under your account to join, pre-register, and receive a pre-registered claim code to copy and keep. The page warns to keep it secure, since it's single-use.
Pre-registering also grants a free pull directly, separate from the code rewards.
The new-server rally splits participants into Pyrite Pageant and Umbral Prowlers, with rewards presumably scaling on participation — the standard structure for a launch-day rally, though specific tiers haven't been published.
What we know about Pyrite Nyx
Less than the name suggests, honestly.
Pyrite Nyx is confirmed as the anniversary version's title, promoted alongside key art of a top-hatted showman standing over a moonlit city with cards scattering around him — the caption invites you to feast your eyes on a grand opening show. The theming points at illusion, performance and misdirection, which fits an event series that includes something called Spot the Trick.
What hasn't been announced: the version's actual launch date, its new Animus, banner structure, story content, or whether Pyrite Nyx and the 2 September server opening are the same moment. The server date is confirmed; the version's premiere is described only as September.
That distinction matters. A server opening and a version launch are not automatically the same event, and the announcement doesn't merge them. Treat 2 September as the server date and September as the version window until XD Entertainment publishes more.
The official post also promises surprise events unlocking one after another and more anniversary news to come — so the current picture is deliberately partial.
The lead-up: SS5.4
The anniversary isn't arriving cold. SS5.4 has been serving as the warm-up, carrying an anniversary countdown and additional reward events ahead of the celebration proper.
That update also introduces Oryes, a new SSR Animus, and expands Animetry: Awaken with new awakening content for Viper. SS6 is expected to follow the anniversary period.
For anyone deciding whether to engage now or wait: the countdown content is live, which means there's already reason to log in before September.
What isn't known
- Pyrite Nyx's launch date. September only.
- New Animus in the anniversary version. Unannounced.
- Banner structure and rates for the anniversary period.
- Full reward tiers for the new-server rally and its two camps.
- Whether existing-account players receive any portion of the pre-registration rewards on their main server.
- Anniversary login campaigns, codes and their claim windows.
What to do now
Pre-register regardless. It costs nothing and takes a minute. Even if you never touch the new server, you secure the option.
Decide deliberately about the Anniversary Server. New servers concentrate the player base at the same progression point, which is genuinely attractive for competitive modes like Summit Arena and RTA where matchmaking against established rosters can be punishing. But it's a restart, not a bonus. The 1,888 crystals are an incentive to begin fresh, not a gift to an existing account.
Keep your claim code safe. Single-use, single-server. Losing it means losing the package.
Clear SS5.4 content while you wait. The countdown rewards are available now and time-limited content doesn't return.
Note 2 September, 21:00 UTC-5 — 09:00 WIB on 3 September — if you intend to join the new server at open. Rally rewards typically favour early participation.
Preparing for the anniversary
Whether you're building on your main server or weighing a fresh start, the anniversary period is when roster depth pays off most — Summit Arena and RTA rewards climb steeply, and a developed Animus lineup with farmed Shells clears the seasonal content that a new account simply can't. Browse verified Etheria: Restart accounts if you'd rather enter the anniversary from an established roster rather than rebuilding, keep daily progression and SS5.4 countdown content moving with Etheria: Restart hourly services, or push Grim Pursuit and competitive climbs through Etheria: Restart boosting before Pyrite Nyx opens.
