Delta Force Season 11: Rover, Clover and the 8 September Date

Delta Force's second anniversary season, Reorientation, launches globally on 8 September 2026, bringing a new Support operator who fights alongside a dog that isn't decoration.

Rowan Walsh, codename Rover, joins with Clover, his military working dog. The framing from Team Jade is compact and accurate: Rover heals from afar, Clover handles the chase. Both halves of that describe actual abilities.

Before either arrives, the Season "Reorientation" Dev Stream airs on 1 September at 8 AM PDT / 11 AM EDT / 5 PM CEST — 22:00 WIB — where the season's full contents get detailed. Here's what's confirmed ahead of it.

Delta Force currently fields 17 operators across four classes — Assault, Support, Engineer and Recon — with the current season, Meltdown (S10), having launched on 30 June.

What the trailer showed of the kit

Team Jade's operator trailer went further than most reveals, showing skill composition rather than only cinematics.

Rover fires syringe darts that cure allies' status ailments at range. That's the "heals from afar" half — a ranged cleanse rather than a healing item you place and defend.

Clover is summoned with a whistle. Once out, she pursues nearby enemies, dealing damage and marking them for the squad. That's the "handles the chase" half, and it's an offensive tool rather than a support one.

So Rover occupies both sides of an engagement at once: sustaining teammates from cover while applying pressure downfield through Clover. That's an unusual profile for a Support pick.

Why a ranged cleanser matters right now

This is the part worth thinking about before the season opens.

Delta Force's existing Support operators have leaned on stationary healing infrastructure — drones, rescue UAVs, fixed deployables. That design works well in holding engagements, where the team controls a position and the healer sets up inside it.

It works considerably less well against the direction recent seasons have taken. Cryo and poison operators have pushed the meta toward debuffs, and a healer tied to a deployable has to choose between staying with their equipment and reaching a teammate who's been afflicted somewhere else.

A cleanse that fires from cover removes that choice. Rover doesn't need to reposition into danger to fix a status effect, and he doesn't need his team to come back to him.

Clover adds the second half of the answer. A support operator who can only sustain forces a passive posture — you hold, you heal, you wait. An operator who also applies pressure and marks targets lets the squad push while still being sustained. That's a meaningfully different tactical option, not a stat adjustment.

Whether it lands as strong or overtuned depends entirely on numbers nobody has yet.

Clover is part of the kit, not a cosmetic

Worth stating plainly, because the framing invites confusion: Clover is an active battlefield tool with her own behaviour, not a pet skin.

She's dispatched deliberately, pursues on her own once released, and returns marking information to the squad. That makes her closer to a deployable with independent movement than to a companion that follows the operator around.

It also raises questions the trailer doesn't answer. Can Clover be killed? Is there a cooldown after she's downed? Do the existing counters for drones and deployables work on her? Those are the details that will determine whether Rover reads as a strong pick or a gimmick, and they aren't public.

The regional split

China gets Reorientation on 4 September. Global gets it on 8 September.

That four-day gap matters for two reasons.

Coverage will run early. Kit breakdowns, tier placements and counter-strategies will appear before Global players can touch the season. That information is usually accurate, but treat balance figures as provisional — regional builds have differed before, and a season's first days often bring adjustments.

Don't plan around a date you read somewhere. If a guide says the season is live and your client disagrees, check which region it was written for.

What the Dev Stream will settle

The 1 September broadcast is where the rest of Season 11 becomes public. Team Jade has said it will cover Rover and Clover's full backstory and detail the season's confirmed content.

Expect that to include the full ability list with cooldowns, the Battle Pass, map and weapon additions, anniversary rewards, and how Rover is unlocked.

Until then, anything specific about the season beyond the operator and the dates is either unconfirmed or leaked.

The leaks, labelled

Material circulating from leak accounts — not from Team Jade — points to:

• New weapons: an M1A1 Thompson SMG and an MDR assault rifle
• A new vehicle: the LSV Amphibious ATV, reportedly with Assault, Mortar and Multiple Rocket variants
• A new Warfare map called Moga Town

None of this has been announced. Season content leaks in this game have a reasonable track record, but the Dev Stream is one day away — there's no reason to plan around unverified lists when the confirmed version arrives tomorrow.

• Rover's full ability list, cooldowns and numbers.
• How Clover is countered — whether she can be killed, jammed or outrun.
• How Rover is unlocked — free, progression-gated, or purchased.
• Battle Pass contents and anniversary rewards.
• Whether Operations mode receives content, or whether the season focuses on Warfare.

What to do before 8 September

Watch the Dev Stream on 1 September. It's the difference between planning from confirmed content and planning from a leak list.

Finish Season Meltdown content. Battle Pass progress and seasonal objectives don't carry over, and you have roughly a week.

Bank currency rather than spending. With the anniversary season's rewards and store contents unannounced, spending now is deciding without information you'll have tomorrow.

Don't commit to a loadout meta yet. If the leaked weapons are real, the Warfare balance picture changes on day one. If they aren't, it doesn't. Either way, one day of patience costs nothing.
