Town Hall 19 Is Coming: How to Use Clash of Clans Hammer Jam Now

Clash of Clans Hammer Jam 2026 is live, and it is the best time of the year to push your village forward. Until November 16, eligible Home Village upgrades cost 50% less and take 50% less time, while resource collectors produce and store twice as much. With Town Hall 19 landing mid-month, the upgrades you choose now matter more than usual. Hammer Jam 2026 Dates and Discounts
- Start: November 1, 2026, 08:00 UTC
- End: November 16, 2026, 08:00 UTC (Supercell's monthly calendar lists the event as November 1 to 15)
- Eligibility: Town Hall 3 and above
- Upgrade discount: 50% off cost and time for eligible Home Village upgrades paid with Gold, Elixir or Dark Elixir
- Forge: reported 50% off resource costs and crafting time
- Collectors: 2x production and 2x storage for Gold Mines, Elixir Collectors and Dark Elixir Drills
Not included: Builder Base, Clan Capital, Supercharges, Crafted Defenses, Hero Equipment and anything bought with Gems.
Always check the upgrade menu before committing. If the discount applies, the reduced cost and time are shown there.
Upgrade Priority Order
The priorities below follow the approach most experienced players use during Hammer Jam: strengthen your attack first, then use the discount on the upgrades that take the longest.
1. Builders and Laboratory If you do not have all six Builders, getting the last one comes first. More Builders means more discounted upgrades running at the same time. Keep your Laboratory busy for the entire event, since research time is one of the biggest bottlenecks.
2. Army Camps and Offensive Buildings Army Camps, Barracks, Spell Factories and the Clan Castle improve every attack you make, including your Clan War League hits during November 1 to 10.
3. Heroes Hero upgrades have some of the longest timers in the game. Starting them during Hammer Jam saves the most time per Builder.

5. Core Defenses Once your offense is on track, move to the defenses that matter most for war, such as your strongest splash and single-target defenses.
6. Pets Pet House upgrades can benefit from the event too. Our pet tier list shows which pets give the best value.
7. Walls Last Walls do not use Builders, so they can wait. Use leftover Gold and Elixir on Walls only after your Builders and Laboratory are busy.
Magic Items: Potions Yes, Books and Hammers Later
- Use Builder, Research and Pet Potions during Hammer Jam. Because timers are already halved, each potion effectively speeds up twice as much normal upgrade time.
- Save Books and Hammers for after the event. They finish an upgrade instantly, so they give more value on a full-price upgrade than on a discounted one.
- Exception: a Book can still be worth using in the final days if it frees a Builder to start another long upgrade before the event ends.
Start Your Longest Upgrades Before November 16
Upgrades keep their discounted cost and time once they start, even if they finish after the event ends. Plan your schedule so every Builder starts a long upgrade in the last days of Hammer Jam, ideally on November 15.
Use the doubled collector production to stockpile resources for those final upgrades.
Should You Prepare for Town Hall 19?
Supercell says Town Hall 19 lands mid-month, but it has not shared the new buildings, levels or costs yet.
If you are on Town Hall 18 and close to max: use Hammer Jam to finish your remaining TH18 upgrades, especially Heroes and Laboratory research. Keep some resources and your Books and Hammers in reserve for the first TH19 upgrades.
If you are far from max: do not rush. The discount is worth more on your current Town Hall's long upgrades than on a Town Hall upgrade you are not ready for.
