Chaos Zero Nightmare Olga Preview: Character PV, Banner Date & What We Know
By Sir Ayup 4 September 2026, 20:00 WIB
Olga's Character PV has landed, and it confirms the three details that were missing until now. She's a 5-star Instinct Psionic from the Wanderer faction, and her banner runs 9 September to 30 September 2026 in Season 4 Phase 3.
There's a scheduling detail worth catching before anything else: 9 September is also the day Arabella's window closes. Both are limited Seasonal Combatants, neither joins the standard pool afterwards, and one arrives the moment the other leaves.
Here's what the PV settles, what it doesn't, and how to approach the last banner of Season 4.
The short version
- Olga: 5★, Class Psionic, Attribute Instinct, Faction Wanderer.
- Banner: 9 – 30 September 2026, Season 4 Phase 3.
- Arabella leaves on 9 September — the same day Olga arrives.
- Olga is a limited Seasonal Combatant. She does not enter the standard pool afterwards.
- Her weapon is a scythe, a type with no equivalent in the existing roster.
- Hard pity is 70 pulls, with soft pity beginning at pull 58.
- Her skills, cards and stats are still unpublished.
What the PV confirms
The character reveal gives the full identity block:
- Rarity: 5★
- Class: Psionic
- Attribute: Instinct
- Faction: Wanderer
Her introduction line — an invitation to call her Miss Olga — sets a tone somewhere between playful and imperious, and the reveal art shows her mid-swing with the scythe against a wall of fire.
Knowing the class narrows her role without describing her kit. Class and attribute tell you which team slots and elemental bonuses she interacts with; they don't tell you her card costs, her AP economy, or what her abilities actually do. Those remain unpublished.
The scythe is a genuine roster addition
Olga was first revealed at Anime Expo 2026 alongside Hilde and Arabella, the three Combatants built for Season 4: Shattered Light and Claw. Each brought a weapon type the roster didn't have — Hilde a bow, Arabella a whip-like flexible blade, and Olga a massive scythe, described in Smilegate's own announcement in exactly those terms.
That matters more here than in most games. Chaos Zero Nightmare resolves combat through cards and turn order rather than direct weapon handling, so a new weapon type usually signals a distinct animation profile and kit shape rather than a cosmetic difference.
Her lore adds another layer: Olga is described as able to manipulate steel at will, and as a central figure in the season's storyline about the cosmic gods. That's an unusually prominent narrative role for a Combatant, and it suggests she'll remain relevant to the story well past her banner window.
What "Seasonal" costs you
This is the detail that should drive the decision.
Seasonal Combatants are obtainable only during their own rate-up banner. They don't rotate into the standard pool when the window shuts. Miss the three weeks and there's no fallback route.
It compounds with how duplicates work. Extra copies raise a Combatant's Manifest Ego, improving stats and abilities. For a limited unit, the copies you gather during the banner are effectively all you will ever have — so anyone planning to invest in Olga long-term has a stronger reason to pull deep during the window than someone who just wants her on the roster.
The pity system, in numbers
Chaos Zero Nightmare's pity is more forgiving than most:
- Hard pity at 70 pulls guarantees a 5-star unit or partner.
- Soft pity begins at pull 58, with the 5-star chance rising 4.5% per pull.
- By pull 69, the chance sits at roughly 50.5%.
Most players reach a 5-star before the hard ceiling. Budgeting for the full 70 is the safe plan; expecting to spend it is pessimistic.
Season 4 has asked three times
Three new Combatants in a single season is a demanding cadence, and Olga is the third ask — Hilde in Phase 1, Arabella in Phase 2 from 19 August, Olga closing it out.
If you pulled for both predecessors, your reserve entering September is probably thinner than this banner deserves. That's worth confronting before the 9th rather than midway through a pity count.
Season 4 was never designed for you to get all three. If Olga is the one you wanted, arriving with a full reserve matters more than reacting to whichever reveal looks strongest.
The Save Data system narrows the gap
One recent addition is directly relevant to picking up a new Combatant.
The Save Data Download System, introduced alongside Arabella's update, lets players obtain pre-built Save Data — free or paid — with Equipment and Cards already tailored to a given Combatant's characteristics. Smilegate describes it as meant to cut the time it normally takes to gear a new character from scratch.
For a limited Seasonal Combatant with a three-week window, that meaningfully shortens the distance between pulling her and actually fielding her.
What's still unpublished
- Her full skill kit, card interactions and AP economy.
- Her cards, Memory Fragments, potential and Manifest Ego materials. Community databases list all of these as pending.
- Her stats.
- Whether she carries Season 4's Fracture damage-over-time effect, shared across the season's new Combatants. It would be consistent; it isn't confirmed for her.
- Whether a signature Partner accompanies her, as Licinia did for Arabella and Emilie for Hilde.
- Recommended decks, equipment and teams.
Any build guide published for Olga before 9 September is working from animations, class and inference rather than a kit. Scythe-based assumptions — wide multi-hit sweeps, heavy telegraphed single strikes — are reasonable guesses about a weapon archetype, not information about a character.
What to do before 9 September
Finish with Arabella first. Her window closes the same day Olga's opens, and she doesn't return to the standard pool either. Whatever you intended to do about her, do it this week.
Count your reserve honestly. With hard pity at 70 and no standard-pool fallback, a partial reserve is the worst position — enough to start, not enough to finish.
Hold off on team planning. Class and attribute narrow her role, but without cards and AP costs, synergy planning is guesswork.
Watch for the full kit reveal. It typically lands close to the banner, and that's the point at which this becomes a build decision rather than a scheduling one.
Clear expiring Season 4 content. The Great Rift competitive mode and the season's events are running now, and season content doesn't wait for the next banner.
Preparing for the last banner of the season
A limited Seasonal Combatant only earns her slot on an account with the Cards, Memory Fragments and Equipment to support her — and that infrastructure is the slow half of Chaos Zero Nightmare, not the pulling.
