Blue Archive The Calm After the Storm: Event, Rewards and Banners
By Sir Ayup
The Blue Archive The Calm After the Storm event opens on the global server on October 13, 2026, bringing a Shanhaijing summer story and two new swimsuit students, Kisaki (Swimsuit) and Shun (Swimsuit). The same day also launches a Limited Dash Banner with Wakamo, Hoshino (Swimsuit) and Mika, which may matter even more for your pyroxene plans. At gamemarket.gg, we broke down the event schedule, what the new students do and which banner deserves your pulls first.
Event and Banner Schedule

- The Calm After the Storm event: October 13 to October 27, 2026
- New student banner: Kisaki (Swimsuit), Shun (Swimsuit) and Shun (Small) (Swimsuit), October 13 to October 27
- Limited Dash Banner: Wakamo, Hoshino (Swimsuit) and Mika, October 13 to November 10
- New Favorite Items: Iroha, Karin (Bunny) and Ayane, October 13 to October 27
Ending on October 13 are the Yoshimi, Kazusa and Natsu (Band) rerun banner and the Hyakkiyako Water Battle rerun event, so finish those before the reset if you still have rewards to claim.
What Is The Calm After the Storm?
The Calm After the Storm is the official global title of the Shanhaijing summer event, which first appeared on the Japanese server earlier this year. Some community schedules list it under the working name "Stormy Sky," but the official key art confirms the global title. It focuses on Kisaki, the leader of Shanhaijing's Genryumon student council, finally taking a rare summer vacation, together with Shun.
The full list of event rewards, shop items and bonus students is shown in the in-game event notice. As with most Blue Archive events, expect bonus rewards when you bring the featured students, so the new swimsuit units help you farm faster even if you only pull one of them.
New Student: Kisaki (Swimsuit)

- Class: Striker
- Role: Support, front position
- Damage type: Sonic
- Armor type: Elastic
- Weapon: SMG
Kisaki's swimsuit version is built around speeding up your team's EX Skills. Her EX Skill reduces the cost of the three closest allied Strikers by 1, a reduction that lasts until each of them uses an EX Skill once. She also increases her own Cost Recovery for a short time.
That makes her a tempo support. She helps your main damage dealers reach their EX Skills sooner, which is useful in content where fast bursts decide the outcome.
New Student: Shun (Swimsuit)

- Class: Striker
- Role: Attacker, back position
- Damage type: Sonic
- Armor type: Light
- Weapon: SR
Shun's swimsuit version is a single-target damage dealer. Her EX Skill hits one enemy hard, then grants Flower Bud and immediately draws a new EX Skill card. While Flower Bud is active, her EX Skill changes into a follow-up attack, so she can chain heavy hits in quick succession.
Kisaki and Shun fit together naturally. Kisaki lowers EX costs, and Shun wants to use her EX Skills back to back.
A third version, Shun (Small) (Swimsuit), also appears on the banner. Check her details in-game before pulling.
Good News: Kisaki and Shun Are Not Limited
Both Kisaki (Swimsuit) and Shun (Swimsuit) are non-limited students. After their rate-up ends, they join the regular recruitment pool.
That changes the priority. You can still get them later through normal recruitment, so there is less pressure to spend everything now. If you are short on pyroxene, they are the safer banner to skip.
Why the Limited Dash Banner May Matter More
Running until November 10, the Limited Dash Banner features three students players often chase:
- Wakamo
- Hoshino (Swimsuit)
- Mika
Limited students only return on special banners like this one. If any of the three is missing from your roster, this banner is usually a higher priority than the new non-limited students, because there is no guarantee when they will appear again.
Many players use limited students like these in harder content such as Grand Assault. Our Grand Assault Kurokage guide and Hovercraft Season 34 guide show how team choices affect high-difficulty raids.
Which Banner Should You Pull?
- Pull the Limited Dash Banner first if you are missing Wakamo, Hoshino (Swimsuit) or Mika. Limited students are the hardest to get later.
- Pull for Kisaki (Swimsuit) if your team needs faster EX Skill rotations, especially around a Sonic or EX-heavy damage dealer.
- Pull for Shun (Swimsuit) if you want a Sonic single-target attacker who can chain EX Skills.
- Skip the new banner if pyroxene is tight. Both swimsuit students will join the regular pool afterwards.
Your Calm After the Storm Checklist
- Finish the Hyakkiyako Water Battle rerun before it ends on October 13.
- Play The Calm After the Storm from October 13 to 27 and use bonus students to farm faster.
- Prioritise the Limited Dash Banner if you lack Wakamo, Hoshino (Swimsuit) or Mika. It runs until November 10.
- Pull Kisaki or Shun only if they fill a gap. Both are non-limited.
- Check the new Favorite Items for Iroha, Karin (Bunny) and Ayane.
The Calm After the Storm brings a fun summer story and two swimsuit students who work well together, but the real decision this fortnight is the Limited Dash Banner. Secure the limited students you need first, then decide whether Kisaki or Shun fit your teams.
