Arknights Ivy Vine Opens Sept 23: Duel Channel Season 3 Explained
By Rivan Wi 21 September 2026, 20:00 WIB
Yostar has published the Global schedule for Duel Channel: Ivy Vine, the third season of Arknights' betting-on-monsters side mode, along with three Ambience Synesthesia outfits, four $4.99 Orundum packs and a change to how the Commendation Certificate store unlocks. The event opens September 23 and runs two weeks. Here is what is confirmed, how the Program's daily gating works, and why the October 1 store change is worth planning around.
The short version
- Duel Channel: Ivy Vine runs September 23, 09:00 to October 7, 03:59 (UTC-7). Unlock requirement: clear Main Theme 1-10.
- The Ivy Vine Program stays open until October 10, 03:59, three days after the event ends, as a claim window.
- Grand Duel Fireworks, the Program's levelling currency, come from event stages and from Daily Activity. That second source makes part of the track daily-gated.
- Three Ambience Synesthesia Tailor-Provided outfits — for Saria, Lemuen and Necrass — are in the Outfit Store from September 23 to October 21, 03:59.
- Four limited packs at $4.99 each, September 23 to October 21: 1,600 Orundum plus a Profile Theme usable across five named Operators.
- Commendations Optimization lands October 1, 04:00 (UTC-7): store stages unlock by total certificates spent, with new items added to Stage 2.
- Community schedule projections had placed Ivy Vine in mid-October. The official date is roughly two weeks earlier than expected.
What Duel Channel is, for anyone who skipped the first two seasons
Duel Channel grew out of the 2025 April Fools mini-game. Two teams of enemies, Red and Blue, are pitted against each other in an auto-battle, and you don't deploy Operators at all. You wager Gifts on which side wins. In the Gift Contest format, a match runs ten rounds with a rising stake each round, you can abstain when the matchup looks unreadable, and from Round 6 you can go all-in for a doubled payout. Guess Royale is the second format, and there is a multiplayer option.
The point is not the betting. The point is the Program: a milestone reward track fed by the event currency, with the actual loot — Module Materials, Elite Materials, LMD, Battle Records — sitting on the levels. The matches are how you earn the currency. Ivy Vine follows the same structure; the event icon this time is "ALL IN!" and the furniture reward is "Duel Trophy - Courage".
The Program's gating, and why the three-day buffer matters
Yostar's wording is precise: Grand Duel Fireworks are earned by participating in event stages and completing Daily Activity. That "and" matters.
The event-stage share can be farmed on your own schedule. The Daily Activity share cannot — it only exists on the days you log in and do the tasks. If a chunk of the Program's total requirement is sized around a full two weeks of Daily Activity, a player who starts late will have no way to earn the missed days back, regardless of how much they grind the stages afterward. Fourteen days of Daily Activity means fourteen opportunities, and each one expires at reset.
There is one more pattern from previous seasons worth flagging, with the caveat that Yostar has not confirmed it for Ivy Vine. In both Green Grassville and Honeydew on Global, the Program's Level 31–50 rewards opened about a week into the event rather than on day one. If Ivy Vine does the same, the upper track will not be claimable until around September 30, which is another reason not to treat the first week as optional.
The Program's October 10 close, three days after the event's October 7 end, is a claim window, not an earning window. Nothing in the announcement says Fireworks can be earned after October 7.
The outfits
Three outfits arrive in the store on September 23 and leave on October 21, 03:59 (UTC-7):
- Ambience Synesthesia Tailor-Provided — Unstained, Unshaken for Saria
- Ambience Synesthesia Tailor-Provided — Requiem Vesperis for Lemuen
- Ambience Synesthesia Tailor-Provided — As Clear As Crystal for Necrass
Note that the outfit window is four weeks, twice the length of the event itself. Anyone deciding between the outfits and the packs has until October 21 for both, while the Program deadline is the one that bites first.
The packs, and the arithmetic
Four packs, each $4.99, each containing Orundum ×1,600 and one Profile Theme:
- The Congregation Pack — theme switchable among Virtuosa, Necrass, Ulpianus, Lemuen and Pramanix the Prerita
- The Scripted Pack — Hoshiguma the Breacher, Nian, Yu, Leizi the Thunderbringer and Tragodia
- Night Watcher Pack — Passenger, Magallan, Saria, SilverAsh the Reignfrost and Degenbrecher
- The Aphasic Pack — Zima, Mon3tr, Amiya, Mantra and Wiš'adel
All four run September 23 to October 21, 03:59 (UTC-7).
At 600 Orundum per pull, 1,600 Orundum is a little over two and a half pulls per pack. By our count, that is more Orundum than the same-price Originite Prime tier converts to at the standard 180-per-Originite rate, which makes these among the cheaper ways to buy pulls short of the monthly card. The theme is the cosmetic part, but the "switchable among five Operators" detail is doing quiet work: a Congregation theme is only valuable if you own at least one of the five, and the same goes for each of the others. Check your roster against the list before paying for the theme you can't display.
Commendations Optimization, October 1
This is the change most likely to alter behaviour. From October 1 at 04:00 (UTC-7), Commendation Certificate store stages unlock based on the cumulative amount of certificates spent, with the required amount for each stage unchanged. New items are also being added to Stage 2.
Two consequences follow. First, if you have been holding certificates, the announcement gives no reason to spend them before October 1 — the stage thresholds do not go up, and spending after the change counts toward the same unlocks. Second, the new Stage 2 items are the unknown quantity. Until the item list is published, there is no way to say whether Stage 2 becomes the priority stop. The safe reading is: don't drain certificates on marginal purchases in the last week of September when the store is about to gain inventory.
What isn't known
- The full Program level count and thresholds. The announcement lists reward types, not the number of levels or the Fireworks per level.
- Whether Levels 31–50 unlock late. Both prior seasons did this on Global. Ivy Vine's announcement is silent on it.
- The split between stage-earned and Daily Activity-earned Fireworks. This decides how badly a late start hurts.
- The new Stage 2 Commendation items. "New items" is the only wording.
- Any Ivy Vine-specific enemy roster or format changes. The pixel banner shows a new lineup, but Yostar has not detailed what differs from Honeydew.
- Server differences. These are Global (UTC-7) dates. CN ran Ivy Vine in April–May; other regions are not covered by this announcement.
What to do
- Start on September 23, not the following weekend. Daily Activity Fireworks are the part you can't recover.
- Clear Main Theme 1-10 now if you haven't. It is the only unlock gate, and it is trivial for anyone past early story.
- Treat October 7 as the real deadline. October 10 is for claiming, and there is nothing in the announcement that lets you earn after the event closes.
- Hold Commendation Certificates until October 1. Thresholds don't change; the store's inventory does.
- Check the five-Operator lists before buying a pack. The Orundum is the same in all four; only the theme differs, and a theme for Operators you don't own is decoration you can't use.
- Decide on outfits last. They run until October 21, well after the event, so there is no reason to let them crowd out the Program.
