What Is Arena of Games?
The Trial Arena has moved to Dijiang, and it has become popular enough to get a full makeover. This time it comes with Hongshan "Mahjong" elements, so every trial is built from the Dataplates you draw.
Instead of a fixed stage, each run changes depending on your draws. Stronger draws mean higher scores, but they also mean tougher enemies, so the event is all about choosing how far to push your luck.
How Dataplates Work
When a trial begins, you draw Dataplates. Each Dataplate records information about different enemies, along with:
- Battle Points (BP): the higher the BP, the stronger the challenge that Dataplate brings into the trial
- Suit: used for some of the Lucky Hand combinations
You can make up to 5 draws in each trial round. The right side of the screen shows how many Dataplates are left in the deck for each BP, so you can check them at any time and plan your next draw.
Watch out for Data Overflow. If the total BP of your Dataplates goes over 10, enemy levels increase and the challenge becomes much harder.
Lucky Hands and Score Multipliers
Drawing Dataplates that form a specific combination makes a Lucky Hand. There are 8 types:
- Pair: 2 Dataplates with the same BP
- Two Pair
- Triplet
- Straight: 4 Dataplates with sequential BP
- Flush
- Full House
- Quad: 4 Dataplates with the same BP
- Straight Flush: 5 Dataplates with sequential BP and the same Suit
The harder the hand, the higher its Hand Multiplier and the more score it earns. The catch is that Lucky Hands also buff the enemies, so every big hand comes with a bigger fight.
Chiefs and the Hand of Today
Each Lucky Hand comes with its own enemy buff effect. For example, a Quad makes the enemy with the highest BP a Chief at the start of battle. The Chief gets a large boost to Interruption Resistance, ATK and Max HP, and it also restores some HP whenever the other enemies take damage.
There is also a Hand of Today. Landing it doubles your rewards, but it also greatly strengthens the enemies. For example, if the Hand of Today is a Quad, you will face 2 Chiefs instead of 1.
Rounds and Leaderboards
Each arena challenge is a 2-round trial:
- Your Round 1 score adds an extra boost to the Round 2 score multiplier
- If you fail or abandon Round 2, you still keep part of your Round 1 score
The leaderboards show the highest score earned in a single challenge, so one strong run counts more than many average ones.
Arena of Games Rewards
Arena of Games Rewards
Complete trial challenges to earn Arena Points. Reaching tiers in the Arena Milestone and completing specific Arena Tasks unlocks rewards including:
- Oroberyl x1,200
- Portrait: Get Lucky Now
- Advanced Progression Selection Crate II
- Advanced Cognitive Carrier
- Mark of Perseverance
You can also earn an event-exclusive Engraved Medal, and meeting specific conditions lets you trim it with an extra visual effect. The full reward list and the trim conditions can be checked in game.
The 1,200 Oroberyl matches the amount from the earlier Forest of Maras Challenge, so challenge events like this remain a steady source of pulls.
Tips for Arena of Games
Keep your total BP at 10 or below. Data Overflow raises enemy levels, so go over 10 only when your team can handle it.
Pick your Lucky Hands carefully. A simple Pair gives a safer score boost, while a Quad or Straight Flush pays more but brings much stronger enemy buffs.
Plan around the Hand of Today. Double rewards are tempting, but its stronger enemy buffs, like the extra Chief on a Quad, can turn an easy run into a hard one.
Push Round 1 first. Since Round 1 boosts the Round 2 multiplier and part of it is kept even if Round 2 fails, a strong first round is the safest way to build score.
Come back for Phase 2. All Dataplates and the rest of the Milestone rewards open on November 11, so save some time for the second half of the event.
Your Arena of Games Checklist
- Reach Authority Level 30 before October 29.

- Build Lucky Hands without going over 10 BP unless your team is ready.
- Return on November 11 for Phase 2 and the remaining rewards.
- Claim everything before November 19, 04:00 (server time).
