Aniimo Part 2 Balance Changes: Who to Reset Before November 13
By Sir Ayup
The Aniimo balance changes in Season 1 "Departure with the Wind: Part 2" go deeper than the new map and 51 new Aniimo. The October 29 update rewrites how ATK works for every Aniimo, adjusts 19 of them and opens a free raising reset for six that were hit hardest. If you invested in Sherro, Hexxin, Inferlupa or Ignitis, the next two weeks matter. At gamemarket.gg, we went through the official update notice to explain every change, which Aniimo got stronger and how to use the reset before it closes on November 13.
ATK Now Matters for Every Aniimo
The biggest change sits in the attribute system. Before Part 2, raising ATK on a non-DPS Aniimo gave unclear feedback. Now, every Aniimo's ATK increase directly affects its output.
Two roles get special rules when their ATK is low:
- BREAK Aniimo: ATK and BREAK work together to determine damage within a certain range
- Support Aniimo: ATK and level work together to determine damage within a certain range
The developers say the combat experience of current mainstream Aniimo should stay largely unchanged, and the balance adjustments below were made for the Aniimo most affected by the new formula.
Buffs: Who Got Stronger
Hexxin received the clearest buff of the update. Its support damage logic was rewritten so ATK meaningfully counts, its ATK Family stat rose from 88 to 100 and all skill Might increased by 20%.
Panpanta's "Splash Shield" now grants a larger shield, up from 8% to 11%. The same patch also fixed a Command Mode bug that let it roll continuously without spending stamina.
Fenmane's "Thunder Imprint" Might doubled from 1 to 2 per hit.
Waleetle's ATK Family stat increased from 114 to 120.
Trade-Offs: Lower Costs, Longer Cooldowns
Three popular Aniimo received changes that cut their cost or raise their power while slowing how often they can use a key skill:
- Sherro: "Flowing Water Slash" cooldown reduced from 5 to 3 seconds. "Prismana Slam" energy cost reduced from 20 to 15, but its cooldown rose from 1 to 10 seconds.
- Inferlupa: "Flame Wolf Assault" energy cost reduced from 20 to 15, but its cooldown rose from 1 to 20 seconds.
- Ignitis: "Fire Dash" Might increased from 15 to 22, with its cooldown raised from 1 to 10 seconds.
These are not straight buffs. If your rotation relied on spamming those skills, expect to change how you play them. If you mainly used them as burst moves, the extra damage or lower cost may work in your favor. Our earlier Prismana Inferlupa preview covers where to find her and how her flow worked before this patch.
Blazen was reshaped rather than buffed or nerfed. Its ATK Family stat dropped from 100 to 90, while HP rose from 100 to 112 and REGEN from 86 to 98, pushing it toward a sturdier role.
Nerfs and Corrections
Lavazar took the clearest nerf. The energy cost of "Fiery Punch" doubled from 10 to 20.
Bailite's "Cannon Mode" was corrected. It no longer fires for free; instead, it now gradually consumes 30 energy upon entering the mode, in line with its skill description.
The rest of the list brings skills back in line with their descriptions:
- Tuckin: HP of the Hummin summoned by Highland Form and Umbral individuals adjusted to the intended values
- Fragrancier: "Secret Fragrance Mark" now only affects the specified attributes
- Leafy: the number of times its skill resolves now matches the description
- Iceblade Wolf: "Boomerang Blade" no longer stays on the field
- Besauce: fixed the resistance reduction growth of "Electric Dance Frenzy"
- Fulmintis: "Enhanced Light Blade" now correctly modifies basic attack attributes
- Irisalis: fixed a small chance for "Florae Descent" to lose damage and fail to create a clone
- Flamerion: fixed the Might of "Phantom Barrage" dropping after being enhanced
- Thornblade: "Thorny Defense" now lasts as long as described
Free Raising Reset: Who Qualifies
Six Aniimo affected by the changes can have their raising reset for free, once per Aniimo, if you obtained them before the balance adjustment:
- Tuckin: Basic Form and Mountain Form
- Panpanta: Basic Form, Nighttime Form and Prismana Form
- Sherro: Basic Form, Thunderstorm Form and Prismana Form
- Hexxin: Basic Form, Mountain Form and Prismana Form
- Inferlupa: Basic Form and Prismana Form
- Ignitis: Basic Form, Forest Form, Prismana Form and Highland Form
What the reset returns:
- all used EXP Items, with the matching EXP removed
- all materials spent on Resonance Star Up, returning it to its initial state
- all materials spent on Capability Awakening, returning it to its initial state
- used Capafruit, restoring its usable count and removing its effects
Reset period: October 29, 04:00 to November 13, 04:00
Should You Use the Reset?
The reset is one-time per Aniimo, so it is worth thinking before you press it.
Reset if the change made the Aniimo worse for your team. Ignitis, Inferlupa and Sherro all received longer cooldowns on a key skill, which could change how useful they are in your lineup. Tuckin's summon HP was also adjusted, so it is worth checking if you built it.
Keep your investment if the Aniimo got stronger and still fits your team. Hexxin and Panpanta received buffs, so most players who already built them have little reason to reset.
Wait a few days if you are unsure. The window runs for two weeks, which leaves time to test the new cooldowns and see how the community tier lists settle after the new ATK formula.
Free Irisalis Upgrade
Every player who obtained Irisalis before the update receives an Irisalis Crystal Amber by mail. Using it gives Irisalis perfect Innate Potential, with ATK 10, REGEN 10 and 5 in every other stat. Overflow Starcryst Essence and used Capafruit are returned by mail as well.
Combined with the "Florae Descent" fix, Irisalis owners come out of Part 2 with a clear upgrade at no cost.
What This Means for the Tier List
The new ATK formula is the change to watch. Support and BREAK Aniimo that were previously ignored for damage now have a reason to invest in ATK, and Hexxin, whose support damage was rewritten around ATK, is the first to benefit from it. Meanwhile, the longer cooldowns on Sherro, Inferlupa and Ignitis could shift how high they sit in damage rankings.
For everything else that arrived on October 29, including Whisperwake Isles and the weekly Prismana rotation, our Season 1 Part 2 preview has the full breakdown. Test your team, claim the Irisalis upgrade and decide on your resets before November 13.
