Season 34 starts 12 September and ends 9 November. Albion East opens at 00:00 UTC; Albion West follows at 11:00 UTC.

But the date that decides whether you actually get paid is 9 November. Sandbox Interactive's requirement is explicit: to receive the rewards your guild earns, your Premium status must be active on the day the season closes, and you must have spent 75% of the season as a member of that guild.

That catches the wrong people. New players rarely get deep enough into a season to have rewards riding on it. The ones it costs are the members who showed up for two months, contributed to territory pushes and Crystal League matches, and then let a Premium purchase quietly expire in the final stretch. Set a reminder for early November now, before you do anything else.

The dates

  • 12 September — Season start and first Invasion Day
  • 10 October — Mid-season Invasion Day, double scoring begins, storage payout
  • 7 November — Final Invasion Day, storage payout
  • 9 November — Season ends

Double scoring from 10 October reshapes the season's shape. Roughly the first four weeks count single; the final month counts double. A guild sitting mid-table in early October is not out of it, and a guild leading comfortably has not won anything yet.

Start times differ by server. Asia gets Season 34 eleven hours before Europe and the Americas, which matters if you're tracking rankings across both.

The big combat change: Resilience Penetration is gone

For Season 34, Resilience Penetration is being removed entirely.

Sandbox Interactive's reasoning is that combat in Albion has evolved substantially since the mechanic was introduced, and removing it lets them observe how large-scale PvP behaves in its absence. The effects will be monitored through the season with adjustments if needed.

This is a season-long experiment, not a permanent change — at least as announced. But it applies for the full two months, which is long enough to reshape which builds are viable in ZvZ.

Check the Dragonfire patch notes for the full list of affected weapons and spells before committing to a build. If your main weapon leaned on Resilience Penetration, this season is the one to reassess rather than the one to specialise deeper.

Two new Guild Might levels

Ancient Lands and Dragons have been added, tied to the aerial-islands content the season is themed around.

Guild Might governs progression through the season, and new levels at the top mean the ceiling has moved — relevant mostly to guilds that were already reaching the previous cap.

The rewards

A new Flameward Avatar in Silver and Crystal variants headlines it, alongside loot chests, 60-day Fame boosts, and legacy avatars.

Guild Season rewards scale by ranking, running from avatar rings at the lower end up to Crystal Battle Mounts, extended Fame buffs, and a guild statue for the top performers. All of it is earned collectively across the whole season — which is exactly why the Premium requirement bites so hard.

Start the Conqueror's Challenge now — if you have Premium

You don't have to wait for 12 September. The Conqueror's Challenge is already live, and progressing it earns Might ahead of the season opening.

But Premium is required to take part in it. That's where the exclusive Avatar Sets, Legacy Avatars from previous seasons, reward chests and Fame buffs sit.

The reward tracks split three ways, and the distinction is worth knowing before you decide whether to subscribe:

  • Daily Rewards — free for everyone. 10 Learning Points and a Tier 4 Tome of Insight.
  • Weekly Rewards — Premium only. Challenge Chests.
  • Monthly Rewards — Premium only. Avatar Ring and Mount.

Non-Premium players still make progress on every track. Nothing is lost while you're unsubscribed — the earned rewards wait until you unlock Premium. That softens the decision considerably: playing now without Premium isn't wasted effort, it's banked effort.

Season 34 Bundles are available until 21 September at 10:00 UTC in the Web Shop and in-game store, built around the Dragon Hunter Vanity Bundle. This time they include 90 days of Premium — deliberately sized to cover the full season plus both surrounding off-seasons, which is Sandbox's own answer to the expiry problem above.

Two different reward systems, two different requirements

Don't conflate them.

The Conqueror's Challenge is individual. Premium gates participation and the Weekly and Monthly tracks, but progress accumulates regardless.

Guild Season rewards are collective. Those need Premium active on the day the season ends and 75% of the season spent in the guild. Progress on this one does not sit waiting for you.

And you don't have to fight for the second one. Season Points can be gathered through activities other than territory PvP, so members who don't do large-scale combat still contribute to the guild's ranking and still qualify for its rewards.

How Invasion Day actually works

On Invasion Days, all resource territories reset to unclaimed and guilds fight to re-take them. Scoring begins once territories are claimed, with Season Points awarded at the end of each territory's prime time to whoever holds it.

Reset times split by prime time, not by server:

  • Territories with prime time between 12:00 and 21:00 UTC reset at 18:00 UTC on the reset day
  • Territories with prime time between 22:00 and 05:00 UTC become available at 01:00 UTC the following day

That split exists to balance EU and NA play windows, and it means your Invasion Day starts at a different hour depending on which territories you're contesting. Check your targets' prime times before planning the night.

What to do before 12 September

  1. Check your Premium expiry date against 9 November. This is the highest-value five seconds you'll spend on Season 34.
  2. Confirm your guild membership will cover 75% of the season. Joining a guild in October disqualifies you from that season's rewards regardless of contribution — so if you're unguilded, use the in-game Guild Finder before 12 September rather than after. The clock on that 75% starts when the season does, not when you decide to take it seriously.
  3. Progress the Conqueror's Challenge now if you have Premium. If you don't, play anyway — track progress accumulates and waits for you.
  4. Note 21 September, 10:00 UTC if you're considering the Season 34 Bundles. The 90-day Premium in them is sized to cover the season end date, which is the requirement most people miss.
  5. Read the Dragonfire patch notes for the Resilience Penetration weapon and spell list before finalising builds.
  6. Note the prime times of the territories you intend to contest, since they determine whether your Invasion Day begins at 18:00 or 01:00 UTC.

What isn't confirmed

Whether the Resilience Penetration removal becomes permanent, the full Crystal League changes for this season, and the exact reward thresholds per ranking bracket.

Our Albion Online market hub explains how the Destiny Board and full-loot economy shape what an account is actually worth.

Two months of contribution, one deadline

Season 34 asks for eight weeks of territory fights, and the reward for all of it depends on your specs being deep enough to contribute and your account being ready on day one. Browse verified Albion Online accounts, where listings detail Destiny Board specialisations, Fame totals, silver and server explicitly — the figures that decide whether you can actually field a competitive set. Gear is consumable in a full-loot season and every serious player loses sets regularly, so Albion Online items covers the weapons, armour and mounts you'll be replacing between Invasion Days, with Buyer Protection holding funds until delivery. And if it's Fame grinding rather than gear that's keeping you off the front line, Albion Online boosting handles the Destiny Board work through verified players while you spend your own hours on the season.
