The Story: Merlin's Detour to Novaris

The season opens with Merlin setting out for Bantus, but the path leads instead to Novaris, a Graveborn city on the border. The city is mid-celebration for a comeback performance from Senea, an opera star who died before this — her first show since her death. Underneath the spectacle sits a three-year-old conflict: people vanished fighting against Bantus during that period, with rumors that the missing were captured and turned into Greyborn soldiers. Layered on top is a struggle over the Void Relic, an artifact said to be able to erase anyone caught in it if its power slips out of control. Estrilda gets direct story focus as well, tied to House Rayne and its stated code, delivered on-screen as "House Rayne shall never surrender."

Four New Heroes Confirmed

The trailer names four heroes joining this season, each with a title and voice credit, though class, faction, and full kit details weren't shown:

• Senea, "Deathless Songstress" (CV: Aife) — the opera star from the story, now confirmed as a playable hero rather than just a narrative figure.
• Thane, "The Exalted" (CV: Steven Kelly).
