Where Winds Meet Next Update and Every Date You Should Not Miss

The Where Winds Meet roadmap for November is packed, and the big Hutuo update is only one part of it. Before the war-torn region arrives on November 13, NetEase has lined up new appearances on November 1 and November 8, a 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast on November 2 and several events that close the same week Hutuo launches. Every Date on the November Roadmap
- November 1: Wraithflame Draw Set, Frost's Glow set and two Myriad Sounds blade appearances
- November 2: 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast
- November 8: Lotus Crane set and the Mindful Joy skill VFX
- November 13: Hutuo Battlefield and the 1st Anniversary celebration
- November 13 and 14: several current events end
- November 19: Where Winds Meet at G-STAR 2026

November 1: Wraithflame, Frost's Glow and Myriad Sounds
The first wave of new cosmetics arrives on November 1 at 00:00 (UTC+8), which is October 31 at 16:00 UTC.
- Wraithflame: a new Draw Set, available for a limited time until February 1, 2027, 04:59:59 (UTC+8)
- Frost's Glow: a new set with a cold, candlelit winter theme
- Myriad Sounds: Wrought Obsidian: a new Heng Blade weapon appearance
- Myriad Sounds: Azure Dragon: a new Mo Blade weapon appearance
Wraithflame has the longest window of the group, running for three months. The official overview does not list prices for any of these appearances, so check the in-game store before planning your currency.
November 2: 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast
The official 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast goes live on the Where Winds Meet YouTube channel on November 2 at 22:00 UTC.
The stream description says Goose Overlord and the development team will look back on a year in the jianghu, then head into Hutuo for its battles. NetEase has already promised that the anniversary will bring the most generous rewards since launch, but it has not published the full list yet. The broadcast is the most likely place for those details, so it is worth setting a reminder.
November 8: Lotus Crane and Mindful Joy
A second, smaller wave of appearances lands on November 8 at 00:00 (UTC+8):
- Lotus Crane: a new set
- Mindful Joy: a new Golden Body Mystic Skill VFX
Mindful Joy changes how a skill looks rather than adding a new outfit, which makes it one of the more unusual cosmetics in this update.
November 13: Hutuo and the 1st Anniversary
The centerpiece of the month is Hutuo Battlefield, arriving on November 13 alongside the 1st Anniversary celebration. The update adds:
- the war-scarred border region of Hutuo, with a new chapter of the story
- the Hutuo River boss fight against Khitan general Xiao Han
- new world bosses Tian Aike-Bingxian and Yelu Abuli
- the Dual Spears martial art, designed with martial arts director Yuen Woo-ping
- two new board game modes, Horse Racing Chess and Jianghu Tactics

Events That End Soon
Several current events are scheduled to close the same week Hutuo arrives, so finish them first:
- Bubble Party: ends November 13
- Merchant's Way: ends November 13
- Qingzhou Opening Month: ends November 13
- Exam Showdown: ends November 13
- Spirit of the Grove: ends November 14
Spirit of the Grove is the newest of the group. It is a light horror exploration at the Inkbound Order, where you use a bronze mirror to spot anomalies in an endlessly looping hall. Limited Appearances You Can Still Get
Some appearances released on October 29 are only available for a short time:
- Duskgem: Celestial Mirage (Waist Drum) and Duskgem: Petrichor Bloom (Spear): available until December 28, 04:59:59 (UTC+8)
The Autumn Eve Whimsy accessory pack and the Ace the Boards Fan appearance arrived on the same day. NetEase has also fixed an issue where Autumn Eve Whimsy could not be equipped after purchase.
Later This Year and Beyond
Where Winds Meet will also appear at G-STAR 2026, which opens on November 19, with a hands-on booth in Exhibition Hall 2.
Further out, Season 5: Ever Aflame is listed to run until January 7, 2027, and the Wraithflame Draw Set stays until February 1, 2027. On the technical side, the game is also set to support Nvidia's new upscaling tech, which our DLSS 5 explainer breaks down.
