The tactical landscape of the Gorge is undergoing a high-fidelity transformation! The Honor of Kings April 2026 Update has officially landed, and it is arguably the most generous patch for the global player base since launch. From the debut of the Mask Spirit series to the arrival of the "god-tier" Mythic Lu Bu, the focus is on visual clarity and rewarding consistent grinders. If you're a Marksman main or a Clash Lane raid boss, this guide is your roadmap to the new aesthetic meta.
🏹 The Ultimate Marksman Gift: Free Epic Huang Zhong
The headline of April is undoubtedly the Huang Zhong "Mask Spirit" Epic Skin. In a move that has stunned the community, this high-tier cosmetic is completely free for all players who log in and complete the mid-to-late April event quests.
-
Tactical Impact: As an Epic tier skin, it provides sharper particle effects and upgraded sound design. Every shell fired during his ultimate feels heavier and more impactful.
-
The "Siege" Advantage: For a hero who relies on his stationary ultimate, the Mask Spirit skin offers cleaner ultimate indicators. This improved visual clarity helps you zone out enemies during late-game base sieges more effectively than the default skin, as the borders of your range are clearly defined in vibrant spirit energy.
⚔️ The Return of the Raid Boss: Lu Bu’s Mythic Skin Arrives
Prepare for true damage dominance. After months of community speculation, Lu Bu is officially receiving his Mythic Tier skin on April 17, 2026. Designed to maximize the intimidation factor of his ultimate, God-Power, this skin is a must-have for Clash Lane mains.
-
Visual Overhaul: The skin features massive, sweeping animations for his enchanted basic attacks and an unmistakable visual marker for his ultimate's landing zone.
-
Why it Matters: In chaotic teamfights, the Mythic effects help your teammates time their follow-up CC perfectly with your initiation. The sheer scale of the visuals makes it clear that the "Demon God" has arrived. Securing this skin requires an Honor Crystal, so get your Lucky Points ready!
📜 Honor Pass Season 12: Zhou Yu and Sun Ce
The new Honor Pass has officially reset (launched April 10), featuring two distinct skins that cater to very different playstyles:
-
Sun Ce (Mask Spirits): A fresh aesthetic for your early-game global ganks. This skin is the Level 1 reward for purchasing the Elite Pass.
-
Zhou Yu (Mask Spirits): The Level 80 premium reward. This skin reduces screen clutter on his fire spreads, allowing Mid-lane mains to zone enemies without obscuring their own vision of the battlefield.
-
Bonus: Naikan Level Honor Pass also grants the Punk Rock Guiguzi skin for free!
