🏮 Who Is Illuga?

Illuga is a 4★ Geo polearm user slated to debut in Genshin Impact’s Luna IV (Version 6.3) update. He’s designed as a burst-window Geo support who: 

• Sets up a 20-second damage window with his Elemental Burst

• Uses Nightingale’s Song stacks that scale with his Elemental Mastery (EM)

• Boosts Geo damage, Crit stats, and even Moonsign levels for the whole team

⚔️ Normal Attack — Oathkeeper’s Spear

Oathkeeper’s Spear is Illuga’s basic Geo polearm string: 

• Normal Attack: Up to 4 consecutive spear strikes

• Charged Attack: Consumes stamina to lunge forward, damaging enemies along the path

• Plunging Attack: Standard plunge with AoE Geo damage on impact

On its own, his Normal Attack isn’t the star of the show—but every Geo hit during his Burst window can consume Nightingale’s Song stacks, turning even basic swings into EM-boosted damage.

🐦 Elemental Skill — Dawnbearing Songbird

Illuga’s Skill, Dawnbearing Songbird, summons his messenger bird “Gale”: 

• Tap:

  • Gale dashes in a straight line toward enemies in front

  • Deals Geo damage to everything it touches

• Hold:

  • Enters an aiming mode

  • You manually aim Gale and send it flying at targeted foes for precise Geo hits

This Skill is simple but important:

• Each cast triggers passives and buffs (via Torchforger’s Covenant)

• Helps generate Geo damage instances that can consume Nightingale stacks during Burst

• Contributes to building a field full of Geo Constructs (from Illuga’s teammates) for extra stacks

🌕 Elemental Burst — Shadowless Reflection

Here’s where the kit goes from “solid support” to burst-window monster:

Shadowless Reflection: 

1. Initial Effect:

   • Illuga lights his lantern, dealing AoE Geo damage

2. Haunted Night’s Oriole-Song (20s):

   • Gains 21 stacks of Nightingale’s Song

   • While this state is active, when nearby active party members deal Geo damage with:

     • Normal / Charged / Plunging Attacks

     • Elemental Skills

     • Elemental Bursts
       → 1 stack is consumed to increase that damage, scaling off Illuga’s EM

3. Lunar-Crystallize Bonus:

   • If the Geo hit triggers Lunar-Crystallize, the damage increase becomes even stronger

4. Multi-Hit Consumption:

   • If a single Geo hit damages multiple enemies, it can consume multiple stacks at once

5. Extra Stacks from Geo Constructs:

   • When Illuga bursts, if there are Geo Constructs on the field (from characters like Zhongli, Albedo, Navia, etc.), or when party members create Geo Constructs while the buff is active:

     • Each construct gives +5 stacks of Nightingale’s Song

     • Up to +15 extra stacks, for a total potential 36 stacks in the window

When all stacks are consumed or time runs out, Haunted Night’s Oriole-Song ends.

In practice:

• You Burst → gain 21–36 stacks

• Swap to your main Geo carry → spam their entire kit

• Every Geo hit is boosted based on Illuga’s EM, and reactions like Lunar-Crystallize hit even harder

He’s basically a Geo Bennett / Kazuha hybrid, but built around EM scaling and stacks instead of flat ATK or swirl.

📜 Passive Talents — Teamwide Crit, EM & Moonsign Buffs

Illuga’s passives crank his team utility into overdrive:

1️⃣ Torchforger’s Covenant

After Illuga uses Skill or Burst, nearby party members receive Lightkeeper’s Oath for 20s: 

• Geo DMG dealt to enemies is increased

• Crit Rate +5%

• Crit DMG +10%

Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam (linked effect):

• While affected by Lightkeeper’s Oath, party members gain +50 Elemental Mastery

So a single Skill or Burst gives your team:

• Extra Geo damage,

• Crit Rate & Crit DMG,

• And flat EM, helping both Geo hits and reaction damage.

2️⃣ Demonhunter’s Dusk

This passive enhances Nightingale’s Song based on how many Hydro/Geo characters you have: 

• With 1 / 2 / 3 Hydro or Geo units in the party, Nightingale’s Song gives extra damage equal to:

  • 7% / 14% / 24% of Illuga’s EM

• If the buffed damage comes from Lunar-Crystallize, those values jump dramatically to:

  • 60% / 120% / 200% of his EM

This is a huge incentive to run:

• Mono-Geo teams, or

• Hydro + Geo reaction shells, leaning into Lunar-Crystallize as a real DPS engine.

3️⃣ Moonsign Benediction: Unwithering in Winter

• As long as Illuga is in the party, your Moonsign level increases by 1. 

This is a more systemic buff, but for players who care about Moonsign scaling and account power, it’s a quietly massive perk.

4️⃣ Night Warden’s Stride

• During nighttime (18:00–06:00) in the overworld, your party gains +10% Movement Speed.

• Does not work inside Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spiral Abyss, and doesn’t stack with similar effects. 

Great for exploration, chest hunting, and roaming around Luna IV.

🌌 Constellations — How Illuga Scales with Dupes

Illuga’s constellations push his energy, stack value, and defensive utility to the next level:

C1 – Vigilant Sentinel

• While Illuga is on field, whenever a Geo-related reaction is triggered, he regenerates 12 Energy.

• Triggers once every 15s. 

Result: far smoother Burst uptime.

C2 – Elk with Fanged Antlers

• While Haunted Night’s Oriole-Song is active, for every 7 Nightingale’s Song stacks consumed, Illuga summons Gale again:

  • Gale deals a single instance of Geo damage to a nearby enemy

  • Damage scales with 400% of Illuga’s EM + 400% of his DEF

This turns stack consumption into extra off-field nukes during your Burst rotation.

C3 – Earthshaking Bear

• +3 levels to Elemental Burst (Shadowless Reflection)

• Max level cap 15

More Burst damage, stronger EM scaling.

C4 – Solarhunter Wolf

• While Haunted Night’s Oriole-Song is active, nearby active party members gain +200 DEF. 

A neat survivability buff, especially for characters that scale partially off DEF or need extra toughness in Abyss.

C5 – Hurricane Steed

• +3 levels to Elemental Skill (Dawnbearing Songbird)

• Max level cap 15

Buffs Gale’s raw damage and scaling.

C6 – Nightmare Orioles

Super-charges his main passive:

• Lightkeeper’s Oath becomes much stronger for Geo:

  • Geo Crit Rate +10%

  • Geo Crit DMG +30%

• Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam improvements:

  • While characters are affected by Lightkeeper’s Oath, EM is increased by 80 (up from 50)
