🏆 1 Billion Downloads: The Rewards Meta
Konami is celebrating one billion downloads by flooding the server with legendary talent. The campaign runs from April 9 to April 30, 2026, and features the following rewards:
-
Free Epic Chance Deals: Log in during the campaign to receive a Chance Deal for the "Epic: 1 Billion Downloads" list. This includes endgame legends like Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Angelo Peruzzi, Steven Gerrard, Cafu, and Francesco Totti.
-
Guaranteed Epic: If you use 20 Chance Deals and do not pull a legend, an Objective Reward will grant you a random Epic player from the list.
-
eFootball Points Giveaway: To mark the occasion, Konami is giving away 5,000 eFootball Points to all users, which can be exchanged for players and training items in the Point Shop.
🏃♂️ Master League Sprint: The Legend Returns (For a Week)
In a surprising twist, Konami has introduced "Master League Sprint", a limited-time event inspired by the classic career mode.
-
Duration: April 9 – April 16, 2026.
-
Gameplay: Take the role of a manager with a starting squad featuring original ML legends like Castolo and Minanda.
-
Mechanics: Manage team "Synergy," handle dynamic "Episodes" like player growth or injuries, and earn points to sign new stars. While this is currently a one-week event, it serves as a technical test for a potentially permanent Master League release later this year.
🇲🇾 New Authenticity: Malaysia Super League
The v5.4.0 update officially integrates the Malaysia Super League into the eFootball ecosystem. This is a massive win for regional fans, providing:
-
Full Licensing: Real club badges, authentic kits, and official ball designs.
-
Face Scans: Highly detailed player photos and graphics for the league’s top stars.
-
Events: Dedicated Malaysian Super League objective events allow you to farm GP and Exp programs by using MSL teams.
🎮 Gameplay Fixes: The 1v1 Revolution
Konami has focused heavily on 1v1 matchups in this update, making dribbling more responsive and feints more accessible:
-
New Dribbling Motions: Faster direction changes during Dash Dribbles and Sharp Touches.
-
Smart Feints: A new "Smart" feint command has been added, allowing for simpler inputs. For veterans, the "Advanced" type allows for precise selection of specific tricks.
-
Consistency Fixes: Adjustments to reduce instances where the ball unintentionally hits a player's body or legs during dribbles.
