🐷 Clash of Clans Reworks Gold Pass — Daily Tasks, Choice Nodes & Hoggy Bank

Clash of Clans is rolling out its biggest Gold Pass overhaul since the Season Pass debuted in 2018. Starting next season, the system receives a full modernization—introducing a redesigned interface, a brand-new daily task structure, flexible reward choices, scalable payouts, and a reworked Season Bank now known as the Hoggy Bank.

  • Completing tasks earns Stamps

  • Collect enough stamps to complete a Stamp Card

  • Completing a Stamp Card grants bonus Season Points

Players begin each season with multiple Stamp Cards, and a new one is added daily. Missed days don’t punish you—cards stack, allowing you to catch up later.

Gold Pass Advantage

  • Bonus Season Points per completed Stamp Card

  • Extra boosted points during the final week

  • More consistent pacing across the month

Because points are now distributed evenly throughout the season, the old consecutive purchase bonus has been removed. Progression is smoother and more balanced for everyone.

🎁 Choice Nodes — Pick Your Own Rewards

One of the biggest additions is the introduction of Choice Nodes.

At certain points on the reward track, players can now choose between two rewards instead of receiving a fixed one.

Examples include:

  • Two Hero Skins (new seasonal or returning classic)

  • Rune of Gold or Rune of Elixir (twice)

  • Book of Fighting or Book of Spells (twice)

Higher Town Halls unlock more meaningful choices. Lower Town Halls receive options that fit their progression stage.

If a Choice Node isn’t claimed before season end:

  • It defaults to the first option shown

  • Or converts to Gems if inventory is full

Choice Nodes introduce planning flexibility without adding randomness—you still see exactly what’s available.

🐗 Season Bank Reworked — Meet the Hoggy Bank

The old Season Bank is now the Hoggy Bank.

What Changed

  • Starts at maximum size immediately

  • No size upgrades

  • No income multipliers

  • Gold Pass applies a 5× payout multiplier at claim

  • 8M Gold & Elixir

  • 2M Builder Gold & Builder Elixir

  • 40M Gold & Elixir

The Hoggy Bank now scales based on Town Hall level. Higher Town Halls receive larger payouts, while lower TH levels receive appropriately balanced amounts.

🎒 Quality-of-Life Improvements

Several long-requested perks are included:

  • 1-Gem Donations can now be used on yourself

  • Magic Items can be used immediately if storage is full (or sold)

  • Up to three Shovels of Obstacles this season

These changes streamline farming, CWL prep, and Village customization.

📦 Chests Added to Silver Track

Chests now appear directly on the Silver track, replacing most guaranteed Potions.

Each chest contains randomized rewards such as:

  • Ores

  • Cosmetics

  • Magic Items

  • Potential Books or Skins

This change introduces excitement and higher potential upside for free-to-play players. It’s not a guaranteed 1:1 swap—but it creates opportunities for better rewards.

  • Operates on a 23-hour cooldown

  • No Gem cost

  • No upgrades

  • No bonuses

Simple, predictable, and utility-focused.

Players below Town Hall 10 will instead receive a Resource Potion.

📈 Scaled Rewards & Locked Progression

All rewards—including:

  • Resources

  • Chest contents

  • Hoggy Bank totals

…scale based on your Town Hall and Builder Hall level at the start of the season.

Upgrading mid-season does not adjust rewards. If you’re close to upgrading Town Hall, doing so before the season begins maximizes value.

Progression now unfolds more evenly. Some boosts may unlock slightly later than before, but casual players benefit from easier catch-up mechanics.
