The Wuling arc reaches its turning point! Publisher GRYPHLINE has officially announced that Arknights: Endfield Version 1.2, titled “At the Wake of Spring,” will launch on April 17, 2026. This massive update introduces the game’s first true Electric hypercarry, Zhuang Fangyi, alongside a climactic finale to the regional storyline. If you’ve been saving your pulls for a meta-defining DPS, this Info guide is your tactical briefing for the upcoming 1.2 cycles.
📅 Version 1.2 Schedule & Banners
The update is split into two distinct phases, each featuring a new 6-star operator to anchor your squad.
-
Phase 1 (Starts April 17, 2026): Features the limited banner for Zhuang Fangyi.
-
Phase 2 (Starts May 4, 2026): Features the debut of Li Zhiyan (Nature Element) and potentially the Heat-element Caster, Mi Fu.
⚡ Phase 1 Spotlight: Zhuang Fangyi (Electric Striker)
Zhuang Fangyi, the Viceroy of Wuling and Tianshi of the Hongshan Academy, is a 6-star Electric Caster who functions as a high-investment hypercarry.
-
Transformation Playstyle: Her gameplay revolves around her Ultimate, which puts her into an Enhanced State. In this mode, she gains chain lightning effects that can clear entire waves of enemies effortlessly.
-
Electric Field: Her Battle Skill deploys an AoE field that deals damage over time. Fighting within this field enhances her attack speed and triggers bonus "Electrification" stacks.
-
Strategic Combo: Focus on completing her full 5-hit Basic Attack string. Her highest damage and Stagger values are locked behind the final strike, making her a formidable boss-killer and shield-breaker.
🌿 Phase 2 Preview: Li Zhiyan & Mi Fu
While Phase 1 brings raw power, Phase 2 adds tactical depth with characters central to the Wuling resolution.
-
Li Zhiyan (6-Star Nature): Dispatched to assist the Endministrator, Li Zhiyan is expected to be a Nature Element operator. While her full kit remains under wraps, she is predicted to bring a new "Corrosion-spreading" or "Nature-utility" playstyle to the 1.2 lineup.
-
Mi Fu (6-Star Heat): As the Captain of the City Watchguards, Mi Fu is likely a Heat-element Caster. Her narrative friction with Tangtang suggests a high-intensity burst style that complements Heat-focused reaction teams.
🗺️ Expanding Wuling: New Maps & Challenges
Version 1.2 isn't just about banners; it expands the world of Talos-II with:
-
The Marker Stone Zone: An ink-painting-inspired exploration area featuring high-stakes puzzles and the debut of the antagonist Nefarith in a major boss encounter.
-
Wuling Map Expansion: New industrial outposts and production options that deepen the game's factory-building systems.
💰 Endministrator’s Pull Guide: The 120 Spark Rule
Version 1.2 marks a shift in resource management. While Version 1.0 offered hundreds of pulls, the "honeymoon phase" is over.
-
The 50/50 Retention: If you lose the 50/50 on Zhuang Fangyi, recent featured units like Rossi or Tangtang may still appear as off-rate units.
-
Save for the Spark: It is highly recommended to have 120 pulls saved before pulling for Zhuang Fangyi to guarantee the spark.
-
Signature Weapon: For F2P accounts, the Battle Pass 5-star Arts Unit serves as an excellent F2P substitute to her signature weapon.
